The Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management offers a four-year program for entering freshman and transfer students for study in one of the fastest growing professions in the world. The B.S. in Hospitality and Tourism Management embodies the civic mission of the College by serving the needs of our students, neighboring communities and region.
Hospitality and tourism management professionals today are not only required to have knowledge specific to their areas of concentration, but are also required to have an understanding of the humanities, behavioral sciences, social sciences and natural sciences. As such, all hospitality and tourism management majors are required to complete 60 liberal arts credits to enhance their logical reasoning, critical thinking, and ethical decision making.
The major core programs provides a course of study which includes the areas of tourism attractions and events management, hotel and restaurant operations, tour management and guiding services, legal and financial aspects, and customer service methods.
