- ServSafe Food Manager Certifcation (The National Restaurant Association ServSafe Food Protection Program provides food safety examinations and certifcations for the restaurant and food service industries. ServSafe is recognized and accepted by more federal, state, and local jurisdictions than any other food safety program. At least one person in each hospitality facility must have a current license, and it must be renewed everyfve years. This certifcation will help your resume stand out among the rest, and will make you a valuable employee in any hospitality facility.)
- The Fundamental Chef: Essential Cooking Techniques, Knife Skills, and Garnishes (This fve-week interactive course is designed to instill basic culinary principles for beginning cooks, and reinforce pre-existing skills for more advanced students. Through coverage of a number of food-focused topics – including a variety of cooking methods, basic knife skills, and appealing garnishes – The Fundamental Chef provides the theories and techniques which may prove to be the frst two ingredients in your recipe for culinary success.)
